I think The Sweetest Thing is a fun movie. Givesa whole new meaning to the Aerosmith song.... that was written for Armageddon... oh god what's that song called?!

Check out the Special Edition of "The Blues Brothers" They took an already classic film, and replaced another 20 minutes that was cut from the original release!
More laughs,
More music,
More destruction,
More PsuedoScientific explanations from Dan Akroyd

Watched One Hour Photo the other night... Robin Williams as a cuddly psycho...
I rather liked it though, it's kind of the story of a decent man who has no idea how to act like a decent man, and who, finally pushed away by "real life" decides to take action... and make a very strange diffence in the lives of the people around him. In a creepy way.

...Platt. He's a good actor. I liked that one and Fool's Rush In
I didn't really like Shrek. Not sure why.

lots of german films (i'm in a german film class)
man, those get depressing. you know its bad when you start laughing at the comic relief moments in a german WWII film
tooo much man
i have rewatched Fellowship of the Ring, Gladiator, Titus, and saw Lilo and Stitch, one of the few cartoon movies i can say i still like
and all of this (excepting some of the german films) has been in my home when Dallas of all places got iced over last week.

Watched three movies during my two days off. Finally made Dan watch LA Story... and if you haven't seen that movie, you must go rent it now. One of Steve Martin's very best pictures. It's bizarre, beautiful, and sureal, in a well put together sort of way.
Watched 2 WWII movies, for no apparent reason. The first was A Midnight Clear, which was every bit as good as I remembered it. Somehow managing to walk that fine line between anger at the way the world works, and forgiving ones fellow men for being screwed up by a screwed up world.
The other was Jakob the Liar, with Robin Williams... which I understand got universally panned by the critics... OK, and I think it flopped at the box office too... but still, I liked it. A story about the little things we can do that can make a difference... a story about how we can never know that what we do is the right thing, but that we have to keep doing what we think is the right thing. And, because it's a movie, doing the right thing is what works... but, hey, what do you want?
